 Troubleshooting

When I click Download, it says page not found or the download does not start.
This can be one of a few reasons, first I may be uploading a new version to the server which would make downloading not available during that time or my server could be down for a moment or you may have been disconnected from your internet connection.

Solution: Wait a few minutes and try again.
Solution: Check to see your are connected to the internet.

Solution: If the problem continues please contact the developer.



After I download, when I try to open the installation I get an error message.
Most likely this is because you are missing .Net Framework v1.1. But it may be caused by something else as well.

Solution: Go to the
requirements page and find out how you can get the .Net Framework v1.1 and that you meet all the other requirements.
Solution: Follow the instructions the error message gives you.

Solution: If the problem continues please contact the developer.



After I install RS SideKick, certain pages, guides, and/or maps won't display
This is probably just a server issue. Also if you have a slow internet connection it may take a few minutes for the pages to load.

Solution: Try again in a few minutes.

Solution: If the problem continues please contact the developer.



Once RS SideKick is installed when I try to view guides, quests, or maps but it says Page Not Found.
Somehow either when you installed Rssk some files didn't install correctly or some files were somehow deleted.

Solution:
Reinstall the latest version of Rssk.

Solution: If the problem continues please contact the developer.



I get an error when I close or open RS SideKick or when I try to save things in RS SideKick.
This is probably because you don't have access to update the files on your computer.

Solution: You may need to be logged in as an administrator on your computer.
Solution: You shouldn't get this error if you are running Windows 98.

Solution: If the problem continues please contact the developer.



I am still having trouble even after reading the above problems.
